Tony is a highly experienced construction professional with over 35 years of experience in the industry, specifically in the water and waste water infrastructure. He is the Director and founder of JHL Civil Pty Ltd, a fully accredited Melbourne-based civil contracting company that specializes in the supply and installation of water and waste water pipes, structures, and mechanical works for Melbourne Metropolitan water boards and tier one contractors of Victoria.
He holds both water and sewer accreditations for South East Water, City West Water, Yarra Valley Water, Western Water, and Barwon Water. His skill sets include sewer construction of small towns, construction of pump stations, lagoon style treatment plants, reed bed filtration systems, major water main shut downs and alterations & many more associated works.
Tony is known for his ability to collaborate with stakeholders, build strong teams, and safety culture, which has helped him deliver high productivity while meeting safety and environmental objectives. His main disciplines include pump stations, manholes, concrete & pump wells, valve pit structures, and concrete bunds, mechanical fitting of small & large diameter pipe work, PRV pipe work and pit construction/installation, major shutdowns for pipe work alterations, water and sewer main connections, all disciplines of pipe work, large and small, All Confined Space Entry (CSE) works, polyethylene pipe welding, deep shafts excavation and shielding and vacuum and pressure testing of water and sewer mains.
Peter is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater infrastructure industry. He started his journey in commercial irrigation, working on large-scale irrigation projects in botanical gardens, golf courses, and sporting fields. However, it was his interest in safety, environmental management, quality assurance, and sustainability that led him to seek opportunities in the water and civil industry. He joined JHL Civil Pty Ltd in 2007 as a Safety, Environment and Quality (S,E & Q) Manager, and has excelled in this role, developing into a project manager.
Peter has been involved in the delivery of large-scale water and sewer projects for Melbourne Water, South East Water, City West Water, Yarra Valley Water, Barwon Water, Western Water, and Gippsland Water over the past 15 years. His ability to build and lead teams has seen him complete various projects such as large-diameter pipe lines, pumping stations works, deep sewer rehabilitation, concrete structures, pressure reduction systems, stormwater harvesting projects, and civil works for Melbourne Water treatment plants and water reservoirs.
Peter's skill set includes contract and financial management, project planning and delivery, key stakeholder consultation, safety and environmental management, quality assurance, sustainability and the development of systems and procedures for construction in the water and wastewater industry.
Scott is a technology, business development, project management, and commercialization specialist with over 20 years of experience. He has a broad background in the renewable energy and sustainable innovation sectors, with a focus on assisting corporate and public sector organizations in addressing social, environmental, and financial sustainability challenges.
He is a specialist in renewable energy, including various forms of biomass and bioenergy, as well as marine energy systems, and has expertise in aquaculture and biotechnology. He also has a strong understanding of commercialization, business development, infrastructure engineering, intellectual property, project management, research strategy, and innovation methodologies.
He has held senior and executive level roles in large multinational companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, research, and government organizations.
