Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the water & waste water infrastructure industry. He’s journey started in commercial irrigation working on large scale irrigation projects in botanical gardens, golf courses and sporting fields.
But it was Peter’s interest in safety, environmental management, quality assurance and sustainability that lead him to seek opportunities in the water and civil industry and lead him to being employed as a Safety, Environment and Quality (S, E & Q) Manager with JHL Civil Pty Ltd in 2007.
Peter excelled in this role as he developed into a project manager. Peter has been involved in the delivery of large scale water and sewer projects for Melbourne Water, South East Water, City West Water, Yarra Valley Water, Barwon Water, Western Water and Gippsland Water over the past 15 years.
He's ability to build and leads teams has seen him complete projects such as large diameter pipe lines, pumping stations works, deep sewer rehabilitation, concrete structures, pressure reduction systems, stormwater harvesting projects and civil works for Melbourne Water treatment plants and water reservoirs.
Skills include: contract and financial management, project planning and delivery, key stakeholder consultation, safety and environmental management, quality assurance, sustainability and the development of systems and procedures for construction in the water and waste water industry.
Scott is a technology, business development, project management and commercialisation specialist with an international strategic, technical and operational business background at Senior/Executive level. His experience includes engagement as the (Acting) CEO and driver of the successful Blue Economy Co-Operative Research Centre bid, stints on both the Federal Advisory Panel and within the Business Development & Transactions team of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency, service as CTO of algae biotech business MBD Energy (now Pacific Bio) and engagement across Asia-Pacific as Sustainability Principal for engineering consultancy, Parsons Brinckerhoff (now part of WSP Global).
For over 20 years, he has built a career with broad MNC, SME, start-up, research and government sector exposure, bringing multi-disciplinary insight, as well as patient and pragmatic commercial discipline to the support of sustainable innovation.
Nick Weston is a seasoned General Counsel responsible for providing legal and risk advice to support day-to-day legal and commercial outcomes for the board and senior leadership team.
Nick is a broad all-rounder with 25+ years in the law including 15 years operating his tech-sector focussed law firm Nicholas Weston IP Lawyers, 6 years experience as CEO of an ASX listed company with international operations and 5 years as a Managing Principal and General Counsel to international mid-market investment banking and M&A firm Eaton Square. As a Principal of Eaton Square, Nick has been involved in M&A and capital markets deals exceeding $100 million, including the sale of Nick Bell’s WME for $39 million.
Nick has degrees in law and economics and an executive certificate in artificial intelligence and business strategy from MIT.
